Where: Central and Derby wharves & the traffic island at the corner of Webb and Essex streets
Why: Mayor Driscoll's Clean Salem Green initiative
HDSNA's meeting for May will be to participate in Mayor Driscoll's Clean Salem Green initiative taking place this Saturday, May 5th. HDSNA has agreed to 2 cleanup sites: 1) Central and Derby wharves & 2) the traffic island at the corner of Webb and Essex streets (see below email from Mayor Driscoll's office for more details)
The clean-up is 9 to 12, followed by free pizza at the Common gazebo. Volunteers who show up at one of the HDSNA sites will they will be given gloves and trash bags provided by the city & pizza tickets.
If interested in participating in this Saturday's Green to RSVP before Friday May 5th to hdsnacronin@comcast.net so we can have a headcount.
Again this effort will be HDSNA's May meeting.
